The first large megawatt fully integrated transmission chain product has been launched
On February 5th, Far East's first large megawatt fully integrated transmission chain prototype was successfully launched in Jiangyin, which can be adapted to 14-18MW wind turbines. It will be installed on the Model Z Pro platform model launched at last year's North Wind Exhibition, providing high-performance and reliable solutions for Far East Wind Farm.
Based on years of technological accumulation, Yuanjing has successfully created the industry's first fully integrated transmission chain independently developed and manufactured by a complete machine manufacturer through systematic structural design innovation breakthroughs, in-depth self-developed and self-made, and full process and full condition testing and verification. It has implanted high-performance and highly reliable genes from the source, helping China's far-reaching offshore wind power industry to achieve stability and prosperity.
As of 2025, the low-speed integrated transmission chain technology has been successfully operated in the Far East Model T onshore unit for nearly 3 years and has entered the stage of mass delivery; The high-speed integrated transmission chain technology has also been fully validated in the Far East Model Z offshore unit, and small batch manufacturing and delivery have begun. After 3 years of meticulous polishing, Far East has successfully integrated the low-speed system, gearbox, and generator into a fully integrated transmission chain based on its successful experience in low-speed and high-speed independent integration solutions. This once again demonstrates Far East's leading technological strength in the industry.
Lou Yimin, Senior Vice President, President of Wind Turbine and Equipment Product Platform, and Chief Product Officer of Yuanjing Energy, stated that only by deeply researching and manufacturing, continuously iterating and optimizing components and systems in both directions, can we develop transmission chain products that best meet market demand. The core three components of the fully integrated transmission chain product are the low-speed system, gearbox, and generator, all of which are self-developed and self-made by the Far East Technology team - the newly developed low-speed system has stronger bending moment resistance; The higher torque density and modular design of the gearbox bring greater cost advantages; The independently developed medium speed permanent magnet generator has higher energy conversion efficiency.
In order to verify the reliability of technological innovation, Far East relies on its unique China's largest bending torsion coupling transmission chain testing platform, adding run to failure tests on top of routine tests to identify hidden shortcomings in each component and further improve overall endurance. The testing time is up to 1000 hours, and it cooperates with the international authoritative certification organization T Ü V Nord to obtain IECRE standard certification for the components.
