The first in the country! China CRRC's 12.5MW Sago wind turbine "Lingfeng" has been offline

On January 19th, the ultra high power wind turbine unit "Lingfeng" applied in the Shagehuang area in China successfully rolled off the production line at the Jilin CRRC Songyuan New Energy Equipment Industrial Park. As the first domestically produced 12 MW onshore wind turbine, the "Lingfeng" will become the "wind control weapon" for advancing into the Shage Wilderness Base in the era of onshore wind.

The power level of the "Lingfeng" can achieve a flexible configuration of 11-14 megawatts, and the diameter of the wind turbine can be expanded to over 250 meters. Based on an average annual wind speed of 7.5 meters per second, a single unit of the "Lingfeng" can generate approximately 38 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year, which can be increased by more than 15% compared to the previous generation of units, effectively improving the utilization rate of wind resources in the desert area. Compared with a 10 MW unit, the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of the "Lingfeng" has been further reduced by about 8%, with significant economic benefits.

The "Lingfeng" unit has broken through industry technical bottlenecks such as wind power long flexible blade design and high-power unit lifting and transportation. The integrity of the design system and the rationality of the design scheme have been certified by third-party authoritative certification agencies. With high reliability, modularity, intelligence, environmental adaptability, and grid friendliness as technical highlights, it provides customers with one-stop clean energy solutions.

The unit adopts a five level test verification system to achieve full lifecycle management of product reliability from design, production to operation and maintenance; The whole machine has a high degree of modularity in terms of functionality and layout, and the electrical equipment configuration scheme can be customized according to needs. Various lifting and transportation schemes for the whole and parts can be flexibly selected; Equipped with various advanced control technologies such as load sensing and system control, with over 1000 sensing points, achieving full range perception and risk early warning of the entire machine.

In response to the special environment of sand, gravel, wind erosion, and strong ultraviolet radiation in the Shage Desert, high-performance leading edge protective materials have been developed, and a complete dust-proof sealing and surface protection system has been established, greatly improving the unit's ability to resist environmental erosion; Wind turbines have strong adaptability to the power grid and can operate stably in complex environments such as complex grid structures, large changes in line impedance, and frequent load fluctuations, providing strong guarantees for the reliability and stability of the power system.
