The Changle offshore centralized unified transmission project has been approved
On December 25th, the Changle Offshore Centralized and Unified Transmission Project, led by Zhongmin Energy under the ownership of Fujian Investment Group, was approved by the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
This project is a supporting transmission project for five projects, namely Zone D and E, Zone I (north and south), Zone J, and Zone K of Changle Offshore. The planned transmission capacity is 2.1 million kilowatts, and a centralized energy storage power station will be constructed. The total investment of this project is 7.335 billion yuan. The project adopts the most advanced flexible direct current transmission technology and plans to construct one ± 525 kV offshore converter station, one ± 525 kV Changle onshore centralized control station, and one ± 525 kV onshore and submarine cable. It is currently the largest single unit transmission scale and highest voltage level offshore wind power flexible direct current transmission project in the world.
