Atlas wins orders for energy storage systems and photovoltaic modules in Texas, USA
On December 12th, Canadian Solar Power Group announced that it has signed three important agreements with Sunraycer Renewables LLC, a renewable energy platform located in Annapolis, Maryland. These agreements include providing energy storage supply and commissioning services for two projects in Texas, as well as providing up to 2 gigawatts of efficient solar photovoltaic modules for multiple projects under Sunraycer.
According to the agreement, e-Storage, an energy storage subsidiary of the Ates Group, will provide a 188 megawatt hour (DC) energy storage solution for the Gaia project in Navarro County and a 127 megawatt hour (DC) energy storage solution for the Midpoint project in Hill County. Two projects are expected to enter commercial operation in the third quarter of 2025.
These two energy storage projects in Texas will use a total of over 60 SolBank 3.0 battery cells, the latest model of e-Storage. These battery cells adopt high-density lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and are equipped with an active balancing battery management system and innovative liquid cooling thermal management technology. These features collectively provide the required reliability and safety for these large-scale projects in Texas.
