The largest photovoltaic project with full capacity grid connection
The photovoltaic project with the largest single installed capacity in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is fully connected to the grid at full capacity
On November 30th, the Alar 2GW Photovoltaic Base Project (Phase I) of the First Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps successfully connected to the grid for full capacity power generation. This project is the photovoltaic project with the largest single operational capacity in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as the photovoltaic project with the largest single operational capacity in China National Nuclear Corporation. It is also an important achievement of the long-term friendly strategic cooperation between China National Nuclear Corporation and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
The project (Phase I) has an installed capacity of 1000MW, supporting the construction of one 220kV booster station, 53km 220kV transmission lines, and one 250MW/1000MWh energy storage power station. The total investment is 3.83 billion yuan, and the total design scale is 2 million kilowatts. The Phase I installed capacity is 1 million kilowatts, and the average annual grid connected "green power" after operation is 1.22 billion kilowatt hours.
