On November 14th, China National Nuclear Corporation (Shanghai) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. announced the list of winning bids for the procurement of medium voltage distribution equipment. Gansu Electric Group Changkai Company was listed, and the Zhejiang Jinqimen Nuclear Power Project, the largest advanced nuclear power unit group in China, and the world's first large-scale coupling of nuclear energy and petrochemicals, Jiangsu Xuwei Nuclear Heating Power Plant Phase I Project, a total of 260 sets of 1E class medium voltage switchgear were included. As of now, Changkai Company's cumulative order amount in the nuclear power market in 2024 is nearly 100 million yuan.
It is reported that since the establishment of nuclear grade product research and development in 2000, the company has formed a complete spectrum of 1E grade domestically produced i-AY6 series switchgear for nuclear power products, equipped with independently owned intellectual property rights of EVH9-12 series medium voltage AC vacuum circuit breakers and VCFH1 series medium voltage contactor fuse combination electrical appliances, mainly suitable for reactor systems such as HPR-1000 (Hualong One), CAP1400, AP1000, ACP1000 and VVER-1000, as well as military civilian integration projects. In this field, the company was among the first to obtain the design and manufacturing license for Class 1E medium voltage (10kV) circuit breaker cabinets and F-C cabinets for civil nuclear safety equipment issued by the National Nuclear Safety Administration in 2018; In 2019, it was awarded as the Deputy Director Unit of the Electrical Branch of the China Nuclear Industry Survey and Design Association; Completed license renewal in 2022 and successfully obtained qualified suppliers from China National Nuclear Corporation, China General Nuclear Corporation, and China National Nuclear Corporation; Rated as a "4A supplier" in the supplier performance evaluation of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. for four consecutive years in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023; In 2023, it was awarded as a member unit of the China Nuclear Power "Hualong One" Supply Chain Alliance.
