2.6GW! Shangneng Electric wins the Saudi photovoltaic project again

Recently, Shangneng Electric officially signed a supply agreement for 2.6GW photovoltaic inverters for the Saudi PIF Phase IV photovoltaic power station, jointly invested and constructed by Saudi International Power and Water Company, Saudi Public Investment Fund, and Saudi Aramco Power Company. This project is another large-scale photovoltaic project planned by Saudi Arabia's National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), and it is also another significant achievement of Shangneng Electric's continued deep cultivation of the Middle East market.

The supply agreement of Shangneng Electric covers two sub projects in the project group, Haden and Al Khushaybi, with a total supply capacity of up to 2.6GW. Among them, the Harden Solar Photovoltaic Power Station is contracted and constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Energy Engineering"), and Shangneng Electric supplies 1GW photovoltaic inverters for it; The Alehushabi power station project is contracted and constructed by Larsen&Toubro (hereinafter referred to as "L&T"), with Shangneng Electric supplying 1.6GW photovoltaic inverters. The project will adopt Shangneng Electric's 8.8MW centralized inverter and boost integrated machine, which has a larger network array capacity and can quickly respond to power grid dispatch. It is not afraid of the harsh environment of high temperature and sandstorms in the local area, and effectively guarantees the power generation revenue of the power station.
