On April 9th, Chint Group, the chairman unit of the China Electric Power Association, held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with Shanghai Electric Science Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shanghai Electric Science") in Huzhou. Liu Changsheng, Executive Vice President of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, Wu Yehua, Chairman and President of Shanghai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhu Xinmin, Director and President of Chint Group, attended the ceremony.

According to the agreement, both parties will focus on four major directions: "technological breakthroughs and standard leadership, inspection and testing and global certification, industry empowerment and ecological co construction, innovation platforms and industry activities", focusing on cutting-edge fields such as high voltage technology, graphene new material applications, and international standard setting. Through joint laboratory construction, overseas testing base sharing and other measures, they will work together to create a full chain solution, promote technological breakthroughs in key areas, accelerate the process of domestic substitution, and help China's low-voltage electrical industry seize the opportunity in global competition.  

At the symposium, Liu Changsheng stated that this cooperation will help promote the deep integration of scientific research and innovation with industrial practice. He hopes that both sides will not forget their original intention, focus on solving industry pain points, and use technological innovation to build the resilience of the industrial chain. The China Electricity Council will fully support both parties in playing a leading role in standard setting, technological breakthroughs, and international expansion.

Wu Yehua emphasized that both sides will take this cooperation as an opportunity to build a collaborative ecosystem of "complementary advantages and resource sharing", focus on national strategic needs such as green energy and smart grid, work together to create a globally influential technological benchmark, and promote China's electrical industry to move towards high-end, intelligent, and international development.  

Zhu Xinmin pointed out that Shanghai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. has a deep accumulation in the fields of testing and certification, standard setting, and technology research and development, which naturally complements the advantages of Chint's industrial layout and globalization. Both sides will jointly promote the transformation of technological achievements, create a model of cooperation between research institutes and industry leaders, and contribute to the construction of a new power system.

At present, the low-voltage electrical industry is facing dual challenges of "dual carbon" goals and intelligent transformation. The demand for green energy, smart grid, and localization of high-end equipment is accelerating, and the industry urgently needs to build core competitiveness through technological innovation and standard guidance. Chint Group and Shanghai Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. are not only deep partners in the upstream and downstream of the industry, but also partners in promoting the progress of China's low-voltage electrical industry. This strategic signing marks a new stage of comprehensive and deep cooperation between the two parties.
